About the Author
Karen Nabors Jackson, Ed.D., is a thirty year educator, wife and mother. She lives with her husband in Washington state. In the picture above she is standing with her mother, who came to Washington State to surprise her when she graduated with her masters degree. Dr. Jackson was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and received her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Seattle University. Dr. Jackson has been married for thirty-three years. The Jackson’s have two adult children, whom are graduates of SPS, Florida State and New York University. This is her first children’s book.
